Charitable solicitation disclosure statements
A copy of the summary of the latest financial statement and registration filed by The Pew Charitable Trusts may be obtained through our Philadelphia office or by calling 215-575-9050. If you are a resident of one of the following states, you may obtain financial information directly from the state agency listed below. (The toll-free numbers are for use only within the respective states.)
California: The Pew Charitable Trusts is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Most gifts are 100% deductible as a charitable contribution under federal and state income tax laws. Please consult your individual tax adviser to determine how much of your contribution is deductible.
Florida: A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Division of Consumer Services by calling (toll free) 800-435-7352 (800-HELP-FLA). Registration does not imply endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the state. Florida Registration #CH17543.
Georgia: A full and fair description of the programs and activities of The Pew Charitable Trusts and its financial statement are available upon request at the address indicated above.
Maryland: Documents and information submitted under the Maryland Solicitations Act are available for the cost of postage and copies from the Office of the Secretary of State, Statehouse, Annapolis, MD 21401, 800-825-4510 or 410-974-5534.
Minnesota: The Pew Charitable Trusts is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Most gifts are 100% deductible as a charitable contribution under federal and state income tax laws. Please consult your individual tax adviser to determine how much of your contribution is deductible.
Mississippi: The official registration and financial information of The Pew Charitable Trusts may be obtained from the Mississippi secretary of state’s office by calling 888-236-6167. Registration by the secretary of state does not imply endorsement.
New Jersey: Information filed with the state attorney general concerning a charitable solicitation may be obtained from the attorney general by calling 973-504-6215. Registration with the Attorney General does not imply endorsement.
New York: Contact the Department of Law (Office of the Attorney General), Charities Bureau—Registration Section, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271. The Pew Charitable Trusts makes contributions to other organizations and shall make available upon request a list of all organizations that have received contributions in the last 12 months.
North Carolina: Financial information about this organization and a copy of its license are available from the State Solicitation Licensing Branch at 919-807-2214. The license is not an endorsement by the state.
Pennsylvania: The official registration and financial information of The Pew Charitable Trusts may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling (toll free within Pennsylvania) 800-732-0999. Registration does not imply endorsement.
Rhode Island: The Pew Charitable Trusts is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Most gifts are 100% deductible as a charitable contribution under federal and state income tax laws.
