Jillian Neuberger serves as the science and technical lead for the Pew Fellows Program in Marine Conservation. She fosters innovative, rigorous research throughout the fellowship program cycle and supports communications and outreach.

Before joining Pew, Neuberger led the climate and marine conservation portfolio for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Marine Protected Areas Center and National Marine Sanctuary System. Previously, she worked on legislative engagement with World Resources Institute and on international development with Dexis Consulting Group.

Neuberger holds a Bachelor of Arts in international studies from Macalester College and a Master of Science in environmental change and management from the University of Oxford.
