Patrick Morgan
Patrick J. Morgan works to advance The Pew Charitable Trusts’ collaboration with policymakers and civic partners to improve government effectiveness in Philadelphia.
Before joining Pew, Morgan held multiple senior leadership roles in Philadelphia government, including helping to establish the city’s Philly311 customer center and most recently as the first deputy commissioner, strategy and engagement, with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation. He previously served as a distinguished resident fellow for civic design and as an adjunct professor at Drexel University and was the Philadelphia-based program director for the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Scranton and master’s degrees in public administration and education from the University of Pennsylvania.
