Neel Inamdar
Neel Inamdar is a senior officer at Pew where he helps lead the development of innovative sustainable financing mechanisms that advance Pew’s large-scale conservation efforts. His work includes developing financing solutions for Enduring Earth and helping Pew’s coastal wetlands team secure financing streams to deliver countries’ nationally determined contributions under the Paris climate agreement.
Before joining Pew, Inamdar’s career focused on scalable, equitable solutions that support nature and people, aligning economic viability, planetary resilience, and social development. He founded Wilderness Markets LLC, an advisory firm to the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization. He helped develop for the Asian Development Bank, Cambodia’s sustainable oceans project, and Indonesia’s investment in mangroves and marine protected areas for the World Bank. He previously managed the Verde Ventures Fund at Conservation International, supporting nature-positive enterprises across 15 countries.
Inamdar holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Cornell University.
