Donna Frisby-Greenwood

Senior Vice President Philadelphia and Scientific Advancement

Donna Frisby-Greenwood is a senior vice president at The Pew Charitable Trusts, leading the organization’s work throughout the Philadelphia region; with private and public funders and government, academic, and civic leaders across the country to close gaps between research and outcomes; and with communities of biomedical and marine scientists around the world.
Sheri Gentekos

Principal Officer

Sheri Gentekos works alongside the Philadelphia and scientific advancement portfolios’ senior leaders and provides operational and department-wide support, driving internal efforts to enhance coordination and collaboration among projects and teams.
Elinor Haider

Senior Director

Elinor Haider oversees Pew’s Philadelphia program work. In this role, she leads Pew’s efforts to partner with Philadelphia’s policymakers and civic stakeholders to address barriers to economic mobility and learn from national experts about solutions that have been effective at improving government performance and accountability in peer cities.

Religion

Julie Sulc

Senior Officer

Julie Sulc is a senior officer overseeing a portfolio of grants related to religion and society. Her current work focuses on identifying promising approaches to bridging religious differences and countering bias against religion and religious minorities. She recently completed an initiative that explored the evidence base for effective programs that address prejudice against religion and promote respectful relationships among different faith communities. Before joining Pew, Sulc worked in philanthropy for more than two decades, where she learned from some of the top leaders in the field about religion’s role in various aspects of society, including human services, immigration, education, the arts, media, and social change.

Sulc holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and English from Northwestern College and a master’s and Ph.D. in political science and public administration from the University of Kansas.
