Through technical and financial assistance, training, and convenings, the Health Impact Project helps organizations and policymakers identify evidence-based, health-promoting policies, practices, and research for integration into their work. For example, the project funded local initiatives examining the connection between climate change and health and supported a Native American nonprofit organization in developing and implementing robust evaluations of policies that affect the health of youth in Zuni Pueblo, New Mexico, and making recommendations to improve outcomes.
