Ryan Dolan

Ryan Dolan is managing director of the Blue Nature Alliance, where he leads global efforts to advance large-scale ocean conservation and works at the intersection of conservation, policy, and partnerships. He oversees the alliance’s portfolio of site-based conservation efforts, coordinating a network of more than 150 partner organizations working alongside governments, Indigenous peoples, local communities, and NGOs to accelerate effective, lasting ocean conservation. In the Pacific, Dolan’s work includes supporting conservation efforts in New Caledonia, Niue, and Samoa alongside partners across the Pacific to help advance locally led approaches to ocean protection and sustainable management.
