Since 1991, the Pew Latin American Fellows Program in the Biomedical Sciences has supported promising young scientists who are conducting innovative research in U.S. labs.

While more than 70% of these researchers have received additional funding to start labs in their home countries after their fellowships ended, others have continued their scientific journeys throughout the world.

The interactive below shows the universe of Pew fellows—where they conducted their fellowship, what they studied, and where they currently work. This tool is designed to help Pew’s biomedical community forge connections more easily, find potential research partners, and build relationships with like-minded scientists seeking to understand major mysteries in biomedical science.
