Through Breaking Bread, Breaking Barriers, The Welcoming Center brings immigrant and U.S.-born Philadelphians together across seven neighborhoods for cuisine exchanges and dialogue.
Participants share food, learn about one another’s histories and traditions, work through differences, and reflect on what it means to be a good neighbor and engaged citizen. As America marks 250 years, these conversations show how connection and belonging can help shape what comes next.
