Zack Greenberg coordinates policy development and outreach for Pew’s efforts to ensure clean water, abundant wildlife, and healthy working lands for communities in the Southeast U.S. He also leads Pew’s work with the U.S. aquaculture industry to rebuild marine ecosystems through the Supporting Oyster Aquaculture and Restoration program, a joint effort of Pew and The Nature Conservancy. Greenberg previously focused on engagement with the Sentinel Landscapes Partnership, a collaboration among the U.S. departments of Agriculture, Defense, and the Interior, successfully securing the designation of the Potomac and Tidewater sentinel landscapes in Virginia.

Before joining Pew, Greenberg served as a campaign manager with the Dewey Square Group, where he worked on issues including energy, health care, and education across the United States.

Greenberg holds a dual bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and history from Northeastern University and a master’s in environmental law and policy from Vermont Law School. He lives in Washington, D.C.
