State Resilience Planning Group Works to Reduce Impacts of Future Disasters
Pew-led network brings together leaders from throughout the U.S. to share strategies, lessons
In 2019, The Pew Charitable Trusts formed the State Resilience Planning Group (SRPG), the nation’s premier peer network of chief resilience officers, agency directors, and other state officials building long-term resilience in the face of increasingly severe and frequent flooding, extreme heat, wildfires, and other disasters. These leaders meet every quarter to exchange planning, design, and engineering ideas with other experts.
The resources listed here reflect the SRPG’s discussions about evolving best practices, targeted research to support development of comprehensive state-level resilience plans, and the latest advancements from throughout the country.
