EVENT DETAILS
Experts from The Pew Charitable Trusts will attend this year’s National Association of State Budget Officers (NASBO) Fall Meeting Oct. 1-3 to hear more about the issues, trends, and challenges that state budget officials face and to share their expertise.
At the Boston conference, Pew staff members will share best practices, resources, and insights based on their research into fiscal and economic issues. Pew experts study a wide range of topics—including long-term liabilities, such as state pension costs; infrastructure funding; fiscal management tools, such as long-term budget assessments and budget stress tests; natural disaster budgeting; and state fiscal conditions and trends. Below are some recent resources on these topics.
