Research

Genetic studies from my laboratory and other groups suggest that small regulatory RNAs play critical roles in lymphocyte development, immune responses, autoimmune diseases and lymphoma. In order to further our understanding of how small RNAs affect the lymph and immune systems, my lab uses sequencing technology to establish a comprehensive view of small regulatory RNAs expressed in the immune system and in a large collection of diffuse lymphoma samples, and to identify small regulatory RNAs that are specifically or differentially expressed in lymphocytes and lymphoma cells.
